Racks

The contrast between the blond, creamy color of the pine and the dark, black painted base is stark and beautiful. I love the blocks of blond jutting out from the black. 

Blocks (from a lumber yards 2 by 4's) are cut on an angle and mounted to the black painted base. The top ridge of the sculpted pine forms the area to hang your items. The wood is very smooth, it's been finely and thoroughly sanded then finished with a water-based sealant. 

This brings to mind Donald Judd work.

Keyholes are routed on the back. Screws and anchors are provided for secure, durable hanging.
